  • The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) defines a Wet Sprinkler System as "a sprinkler system employing automatic sprinklers that are attached to a piping system containing water and connected to a water supply so that water discharges immediately from sprinklers opened by heat from a fire."

  • Wet Sprinkler Systems are the most common type of Fire Sprinkler System. Wet Systems can be found in a wide variety of applications. Wet Sprinkler Systems are not suitable for environments conditioned below 40 Degrees F (4 Degrees C).
